48 year old family owned pizzeria & deli goes up for sale

An Old North staple is for sale – the building and business are up for grabs for $510,000.

According to LoopNet, Ohio State Pizza & Deli, located at 325 E. Hudson St., is looking for new owners. The listing says, “This Pizza shop is well established since 1975 with a very strong following. They average over $1.0M sales without a dining room and in a very small building. The profits are just as strong, as ownership is semi absentee. They are staffed with pizza makers and delivery personnel. Selling Building, Name, Recipes, FF&E with D1 beer permit.”

One of the owners of Ohio State Pizza & Deli told 614Now that they are ready to retire, and they’re ready to sell the pizza shop “as is.” She said they would be selling the building and long-standing brand that comes with it.
