Central Ohio fried chicken restaurant rebrands

One of central Ohio’s several spots for Korean fried chicken will go by a whole new name.

According to a statement posted to its social media accounts, the restaurant formerly known as 92 Chicken in Delaware has become Mashida Chicken.

The eatery, which is located at 12 S. Sandusky St. in Delaware, noted the concept will remain largely the same despite the change in name.

“We’d like to reintroduce ourselves as Mashida Chicken. We’re just about the same concept as our previous name, 92 Chicken, only better! We’ve upgraded how to order by pieces and the pricing, and we’ve even added NEW chicken meals for you to try,” the statement reads.

92 Chicken is a national chain, and it does not appear that other 92 Chicken locations have rebranded. The eatery is launching a new Westerville restaurant which, according to a Mashida Chicken representative, will be a 92 Chicken location.
