Chic new breakfast spot featuring biscuit sandwiches, smoothies now open

When The Goat in Gahanna reopened following a lengthy closure to remodel, it did so with another new concept beside it.

Morning Ritual, a unique eatery combining breakfast fare, coffee and Bodega-style offerings including apparel and other sundries officially opened its doors on March 17. Morning Ritual’s grand opening took place as The Goat reopened. Both eateries are located at 6400 Preserve Crossing Blvd.

While The Goat operated at that same location prior to its temporary closure, Morning Ritual is new to Gahanna, although several other Columbus-area locations of The Goat have opened a Morning Ritual location before the Gahanna storefront.

The new Gahanna space blends the best aspects of an upscale bodega with a cafe, offering Frothy Monkey coffee, smoothies, baked goods, biscuits and biscuit sandwiches. It even offers a dog friendly walk-up window with Pup Cups.

Morning Ritual is open Monday-Friday, 6 a.m.-10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
