While Columbus didn’t crack a recent list of the country’s top-10 good cities, another Ohio city did.

According to a “Food & Leisure” story published on March 19, Cleveland is the 7th best culinary city in America.

Cleveland was ranked just below Tucson, Arizona at number six and Asheville, North Carolina at number eight.

The only other Midwestern municipality on the list was Chicago, which came in behind New York and New Orleans at number three.

“This Midwestern city has a severely underrated albeit eclectic food scene fueled by nearby farms, local producers, and trailblazing chefs. Moreover, it’s safe to say Cleveland’s culinary scene pays homage to the 100-plus diverse ethnicities that make up the city,” the story reads.

The story cited Cleveland spots like West Side Market, Cordelia and Crepes de Luxe as eateries to try, if you’re up for a day trip or Cleveland staycation.
