Lola & Giuseppe’s Trattoria has been serving the City of Gahanna for over 15 years, and now the family-owned concept has branched out into the world of baked goods.

According to an Instagram post, the eatery’s new spinoff bakery concept, Lola & Giuseppe’s Bakery, has officially opened for business.

The new spot for Italian-inspired cakes, cookies and more is located at 104 Granville St. in Gahanna. The storefront, which is located next door to Lola & Giuseppe’s restaurant, was formerly home to Buckeye Candy Company before it relocated to a larger home last year.

The new concept does not appear to have a website yet and owners could not be reached for comment before this story was published, so the extent of its offerings is currently unclear, but several social media photos depict display cases packed with a variety of cookies, biscotti, cannoli, cake and more.

 Lola & Giuseppe’s Bakery is open Tuesday-Saturday, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
