After being closed for over a year, popular Short North area eatery reopened this week under a new name

The moment I found out, I ran into the kitchen to tell my husband the good news that I’ve honestly been waiting on for over a year – “It’s finally happening!” I yelled throughout the house.

That is, Eden Burger, who has now renamed their restaurant “E Burger,” announced their soft opening this week, after much anticipation from the vegan community (and even non-vegans!).

This local, well-loved spot that serves organic fast-casual options like burgers, fries, milkshakes, and other plant-based “fast-food” closed last year following staffing issues and a lawsuit.

According to their Instagram, they’ve launched a soft opening this week at their 1437 N. High St. location. Keep an eye out for a grand opening announcement, but as of now, you can stop by 5-8pm until Thursday, 8/31.

Their soft launch menu includes their signature “E Burger” as well as a “Yes Peas” smashburger made from pea protein, and sides like fries and a seasonal salad. They’ve teased other options, like a Crispy Pumfu Sandwich, but it seems as if they’re waiting for an official grand opening before offering a larger variety of menu options.
