Happy Dad has officially arrived in Ohio.

According to a statement posted to its social media accounts late last month, the hard seltzer brand Happy Dad is now available in Ohio and Michigan.

The seltzer is gluten-free and contains 5 percent ABV, 1g of sugar and 100 calories per serving. It also contains electrolytes.

The brand, which officially launched sales in 2021 and was co-founded by Kyle Forgeard, a member of the Canadian YouTube collective NELK, is also backed by Snoop Dogg. As part of a recent collaboration, Happy Dad even released a new grape flavor with Death Row Records, which the rapper owns.

Unlike other seltzers, Happy Dad is sold in 12-ounce cans that resemble beer cans more closely than they do the tall, skinny containers many seltzers currently are sold in.

“Better tasting, perfect amount of carbonation, and electrolytes. Most important of all, it isn’t in a bullsh*t skinny can,” a description of Happy Dad on the brand’s website reads.

You can find out where to buy Happy Dad here. According to the brand’s store locator, no Columbus retailers currently carry it, but it appears to be available in other locations across Ohio.
