Details revealed on the long-awaited new restaurant from owners of Wario’s Beef & Pork
The collaboration we’ve all been hearing about and waiting for has finally been confirmed.
Starting sometime this August, whenever you stop in for a beer at Jackie O’s on Fourth, you can pair it with some bites from Wario’s Beef and Pork’s newest, highly anticipated concept, Goood Friends (“Yes that is three O’s because this joint is about to be just that goood,” they said).
A post on Wario’s Beef and Pork’s Instagram reads, “The time has come to pull back the curtains and introduce our new creative concept, Goood Friends (@eatgooodfriends). In this new space at Jackie O’s Columbus (@jackieoscolumbus), we’re putting our stank on classic midwest food… meaning high quality ingredients and giving a f*%k about what we serve.”

This “Midwest fine grub” creative concept hasn’t yet released a menu, but Johnny Clift, the general manager of Jackie O’s on Fourth said it’s going to be a concession style window that’s accessible through the patio. The menu still remains a surprise, but Clift says the Wario’s Beef and Pork crew are “…culinary chefs that I’ve trusted for years. It will be great.”
One thing’s for sure though – this new concept is not going to be just goood, or even just great – Wario’s is known for being exceptional, serving East-Coast inspired sandwiches of high-quality. “We humbly pay tribute to the types of shops we grew up in; places that don’t cut corners, make you feel like family, and always serve food with integrity. We stay faithful to our mission to provide delicious, responsibly sourced food that is always made from scratch,” reads a statement from their website.
Jackie O’s on Fourth is located at 171 N. Fourth St. Goood Friends will be open Thursday through Sunday.
