Wine bar + “wine library” now open in Dublin

Sav McKee

There’s a new opportunity to relax and try something unique at North Market Bridge Park.

Market Bar Vinoteca opened last week in North Market Bridge Park, after almost 7 months of anticipation. Owned and operated by the same owners of a neighborhood favorite, Market Bar, this vino hotspot features global wines in addition to a massive “wine library” for patrons who want to try wine varieties they may have never tried before.

Vino is Italian and Spanish for wine, and -teca is Latin for library or collection, which is the inspiration for this new concept. They’re focusing on offering finer wines, and this location even includes a state-of-the-art wine dispensing and preservation system.

Guests can enjoy their fine wines either there at their elegant bar, or shop around at their retail space for a bottle to take home and enjoy.

“Our wine dispensing system and extensive glass pour offerings will also be ideal for tastings and flights—the best ways to enjoy the experience of expanding one’s palette and knowledge of wine,” emphasized Peter Volker, part owner of Market Bar Vinoteca.

If wine is something you’re passionate about, or just thoroughly enjoy, be sure to check out the North Market Wine Fest at Bridge Park on August 18th and 19th, too! Along with a pit stop in Market Bar Vinoteca, of course.
