Columbus restaurant featured live on set of ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ over the weekend
Not only did the Buckeyes pull out an important win from arguably their toughest opponent all season over the weekend, but a Columbus eatery also enjoyed a considerable amount time in the spotlight as well.
On Oct. 21, The Pat McAfee Show was broadcast live from Columbus, with a spotlight on the Buckeyes-Nittany Lions game (which OSU won, 20-12), and Roosters joined the show live on set.
“It was beyond exciting be featured on the Pat McAfee Show,” said Roosters Director of Public Relations and Marketing Nicole Cox.

According to Cox, former Buckeyes and Green Bay Packers standout AJ Hawk, a frequent co-host on the show, introduced McAfee to Roosters at a fundraising event last year.
McAfee and Hawk brought Roosters wings on stage, and the food was featured on set for a full hour. You can watch the segment below, but Cox said there was moment that stood out above the rest for the Columbus chicken wing spot.
“Pat yelled out ‘Roosters’ to the crowd at one point and everyone cheered which was the sweetest! The crowd was amazing,” Cox said.
