Ohio may not be the Bahamas, but we still do have some pretty cool islands here.

One island in particular is for sale, and according to the real estate listing, it’s the first time it’s been on the market. For a whopping $5.75 million, the island, named Journal Island, includes a main house, guest house, a pavilion entertainment building, a pool, and even a theater room, plus several storage sheds, and of course two boat houses with docks.

The home belongs to the Wolfe family, who used to own The Columbus Dispatch and Dispatch Magazine Group until they sold it back in 2015.

The 6 acre island also boasts beautiful gardens, stunning walking trails, a waterfall, and a stream. Inside the 7,159 square foot home, you’ll find 6 bedrooms, plus there’s an extra guest house with 3 more bedrooms.

This luxury oasis could all be yours! You’ll just need a couple of million dollars. No big deal.
