A popular Toledo craft brewery’s new concept is heading South to the Columbus area.

Maumee Bay Brewing Co., which is one of Ohio’s oldest craft breweries, is opening their highly anticipated taproom & restaurant in Powell next week, called Shawnee Station Taproom & Kitchen.

On April 4th, from 3-10 p.m., guests can enjoy a variety of Maumee Brewing beers, plus craft cocktails made with High Level Distilling spirits, and a full wine list. Also, a dinner service brought to you by Chef Travis Hyde, the previous executive chef of New Albany Country Club, will be available at the taproom, with the kitchen closing at 9. The bar & restaurant’s menu will be released closer to their grand opening, and, “It will be delicious. Fantastic, really,” said Rich Rores, owner of the new space.

Shawnee Station Taproom & Kitchen will be located at 6058 Glick Rd. Starting on April 4, they’re expected to be open Monday-Thursday from 3-10 p.m. (kitchen closes at 9), Friday and Saturday, 3 p.m. -12 a.m. (kitchen closes at 10), and Sundays, 3-9 p.m., with their kitchen closing at 8 p.m. Rores said the hours are subject to change based on community needs and feedback.
