Neighborhood favorite fried chicken spot announces new location

A popular Grandview-area fried chicken spot is spreading its wings.

The Crispy Coop, an eatery known for its fried chicken by the piece and fried chicken sandwiches, has announced it plans to add a new location just east of Columbus. According to a social media statement post yesterday, the restaurant is coming to Reynoldsburg.

The concept plants to open a new location at 6330 Tussing Rd. in Reynoldsburg.

“Your friends at Crispy Coop Grandview are excited to announce another location opening in Columbus in early spring! We’re bringing the same great taste and the same friendly hometown service you love to our new location at 6330 Tussing Road. Follow the new Facebook page to stay in the loop,” The Crispy Coop’s statement reads.

The eatery, which was created by the former owners of Uncle Nick’s Greek Fried Chicken, opened the doors of its first eatery in 2020. The restaurant is located at 1333 Northwest Blvd.
