Pizza shop remodels and adds new bar & tavern to location

The ultimate combo – pizza & a beer – is now available at this pizzeria.

The Pizza Cottage location in Powell, which first opened in 2021, has remodeled their space to include a bar, tavern, and live entertainment area, serving up way more than the pizza, salads, and appetizers that were originally offered.

What was once Pizza Cottage’s “party room” is now Tiptons Tavern, which features a full bar, stage for live music, and a covered patio. At the new adjacent tavern, guests can order their favorite classic pizzas, but also new options like subs, pasta, wings, fried appetizers, calzones, burgers, fries, and more traditional tavern fare!

Tipton Tavern/Pizza Cottage held their grand re-opening yesterday. Moving forward, the bar will be open 11am-10pm Sunday through Thursday, and will close at 11pm on Fridays and Saturdays. They’re located in Powell at 8753 Owenfield Dr.
