After a decade, apparel store shuttering Downtown home

Jack McLaughlin

By the end of the month, a decade-old Columbus business will close the doors of its Downtown storefront.

According to a social media post from State & Third, which is located at 65 E. State St., the concept’s final day of business will be July 26.

“It is time we say goodbye to our home for the past 10 years and start our new adventure,” the post reads. “I have absolutely loved getting to know so many of you, your families, seeing you year after year for the same conference—all of it. What an incredible journey that would never would have happened without YOU!”

Billed as an “artist owned boutique,” the shop sells apparel and gifts from a variety of indie designers, with much of it bearing a Buckeye State theme.

State & Third noted that it will be offering sales until July 26.  Fans of the shop will still be able to purchase their offerings online, and at the occasional pop-up.
