For the third time in three straight days, a vehicle has plowed into and damaged a Columbus business. Yesterday afternoon, a gray SUV crashed into the front entrance of Restaurant Equippers, a restaurant supply store located at 635 W. Broad St.

According to store manager Emily Withers, the crash took place yesterday just after 4 p.m.

Withers referred to the incident as “a complete accident,” and added that no one was injured. It’s currently unclear what caused the crash.

She noted the only serious damage suffered was to the building’s window, and the car itself.

“We may have a couple of scratched and dented ice machines after this, but those were the only things damaged, besides the car and the window,” Withers told 614Now.

Restaurant Equippers is currently open for business, and plans to resume its typical hours.
