Ohio exotic zoo announces the state’s first ‘swimming with otters experience’
While the seasons—and the weather—are constantly changing here in central Ohio, there are a few things we can always count on. One of those is the fact that otters are really, really cute.
And now, you can swim with them.
Westmeister Farm, a Mansfield-area “exotic animal encounter,” has announced what it claims to be Ohio’s first “swimming with otters experience,” in the Ohio, taking place in a brand-new facility they recently rolled out.

The Farm is located at 4097 Plymouth Springhill Rd. In Shelby, Ohio, roughly 75 miles north of Downtown Columbus.
Westmeister told 614Now that bookings will likely fill up extremely fast, and they plan to release instructions for booking appointments later this week on their Instagram page. Bookings will serve as private appointments that are separate from regular Farm tours.
You can check out a short video of their otter experience below.
