It only happens once every year, so you’d be wise to take advantage of it while you can.

If you don’t already know, we’re talking about Worthington Jewelers’ 24th anniversary sale. The annual sale, which starts today and will run until Aug. 17, features pieces in the store up to 60 percent off.

Most finished jewelry items will be discounted (with some 60 percent off their original price), select estate pieces will be marked down by up to 50 percent and Luvente items–an affordable fine jewelry brand– will be up to 35 percent off. Unlike the finished and estate pieces, which are only on sale through Saturday, Luvente jewelry will be discounted until the end of the month. Additionally, a special case will feature pieces marked down by 25 percent.

“We do the sale every year, and it’s always special,” Worthington Jewelers marketing manager Cheryl Claypoole said, “For a family-owned small business to not only survive, but thrive, for 24 years, I think it really says a lot about Columbus and the support of entrepreneurship we have in our city, and that people really value the level of service we provide.”

The store will be open until 8 p.m. tonight for Worthington’s Third Thursday Night Market. It will be open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday. Worthington Jewelers is located at 692 High St. in Worthington.
