The Daily Bar, new concept from owner of The Daily Growler, opening in Italian Village next week
There are a lot of bars in Columbus, many of them great, but there’s only one that boasts an entire wall of denim.
And that one bar is The Daily Bar. Luckily for Columbus patrons, the new retro-chic spot from the owner of the Daily Growler will be opening on Nov. 5, with a grand opening celebration that kicks off at 12 p.m.

The 2,000 square foot space, located at 883 N. Fourth St. in the heart of Italian Village, was constructed in 1900, and according to owner John Blakely is the oldest free-standing building of its kind in the Columbus neighborhood.
The Daily Bar will feature a robust wine and cocktail list, in addition to 40 taps dedicated to a rotating list of craft beer, cider, and seltzer. It will also serve spirtzes, an Italian cocktail featuring wine, liqueur, and sparkling soda, as well as the largest port selection in Columbus, according to Blakely.
