Hen Quarter closing “until further notice”
A popular Dublin-based eatery for upscale Southern food has announced it will close its doors, at least temporarily.
Hen Quarter, located at 6628 Riverside Dr. in Dublin, announced on its social media accounts today that it plans to close “until further notice.”
The closure will be effective immediately, and any reservations held for this week will be canceled.

“It comes with a heavy heart to say that we are closing our doors effective immediately until further notice due to the challenges of rising COVID-19 cases and a tough labor market,” Hen Quarter said in a statement on its Instagram account. “We believe this is the best solution to face these challenges and apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.”
And while the Southern eatery is one of the larger names, it’s far from the only Columbus restaurant that has opted to temporarily close during the outbreak of the Omicron variant. Schmidt’s Sausage Haus and Ghostwriter Public House are both temporarily closed, although they have announced reopening dates.
