The Hummus & Pita Co. announces first Ohio location with Columbus-area store

It’s official, The Hummus & Pita Co. is coming to the Columbus area.

Earlier today, the popular fast-casual spot for house-baked pita bread, shawarma and more announced it will be bringing its flagship Ohio location to Hilliard.

An exact opening date has not yet been announced, but the eatery is slated to open sometime in April.

The state’s first Hummus & Pita Co. will be located at 1777 Hilliard-Rome Rd. in Hilliard. The site was chosen by franchisee Pranay Patel due to its high volume of foot traffic and “premier visibility”, according to a press release.

“We are eagerly anticipating this next step in our nationwide expansion with our newest Columbus location,” said co-founder Dave Pesso in a press release. “Pranay has been a wonderful addition to our franchise family and we’re thrilled to be working with him to bring The Hummus & Pita Co. to the state, especially in such a coveted area.”
