Previously stolen and stripped for parts, La Poblanita displays refurbished truck, announces reopening date
After being stolen and stripped for parts late last year, La Poblanita is back, and in less than a week, will be open for business agains.
Yesterday, the popular food truck for Mexican fare posted a short video displaying its newly-refurbished truck, which is preparing for a reopening on March 14.

The truck was originally stolen and stripped in December. It was located shortly afterwards.
“This wouldn’t be possible without you guys. Thank you so much for the love, support and kind words. We promise to be the best that we can be and bounce back even harder than before. Nothing can stop the La Poblanita Family,” an Instagram post debuting the new truck reads.
La Poblanita was one of two Clintonville food trucks and trailers stolen last winter, alongside Caribe Sur. An attempt to steal Winston’s Coffee & Waffles was likely made during that time as well.
