Two injured after second Short North shooting in same week; suspect charged
The second Short North shooting in one week has left two people injured.
According to Columbus Police, gunfire broke out on the 700 block of N. High Street, just after 3 a.m. on June 26. The incident occured near Hull Alley.
Police said two people were injured in the incident: one man who was found at the scene, and a woman who later sought treatment for a gunshot wound. Both individuals received treatment at Grant Medical Center.

24 year-old Robert Rogers Jr. was charged with felonious assault and tampering with evidence in relation to the shooting. The latter charge stems from Rogers allegedly throwing a handgun before he was apprehended by Columbus Police.
This marks the second Short North shooting in one week. Just before 1 a.m. on June 19, a shooting on the 900 block of N. High Street sent three individuals, including one teenager, to the hospital.
