Popular Short North restaurant announces temporary closure; Longstanding Short North art gallery closes for good
Two Short North businesses are calling it quits, one temporarily and the other for good.
Melt Bar and Grilled, a Cleveland-based restaurant chain known for its indulgent grilled cheese variations, has temporarily closed. Melt is located at 840 N. High St.
According to the voicemail greeting of Melt’s Short North restaurant, the eatery has temporarily closed due to staffing issues. It’s currently unclear when it plans to reopen. Melt’s other Columbus eatery, which is located at 4206 Worth Ave. in Easton Town Center, remains open.
