Here’s how you can help this award-winning Columbus craft brewery
Pretentious Barrel House is looking at Columbus for a boost.
The award craft brewers–known for their production of barrel-aged sour beer–recently posted an update to their social media accounts, and while this detailed the brewery’s plans to produce barrel-aged lagers for the first time ever, and even their plans to bring on a full liquor license, it included a call to action as well.
“Our focus on production has caused the taproom to get a little neglected. We have not been able to re-open to pre-COVID hours, nor have we been proactive with scheduling the events to entice people to come in and see us,” the statement reads. “Times have been tough and we hope the new products will help us thrive, but we aren’t quite there yet. We are running out of time to get the new programs up and running. We are asking (if you are able) to find the time to come down and have a pint or pick up a mixed four pack.”

Pretentious Barrel House even noted that it’s offering delivery for online orders as well.
“We would really like to survive this lull, but can’t do it without y’all. The beer is still delicious, we promise,” the brewery said.
