Ctrl-Salt-Delete, The Big LePlowski among names selected for Ohio Turnpike snowplows; Learn the others here
Even if you hate snowy Ohio winters, you’ll still likely get a kick out of the names that were recently selected for a number of Ohio Turnpike snowplows.
Starting in October, the Ohio Turnpike hosted the 2022 Name-A-Snowplow Contest on its website, a contest in which a public vote determined the names of eight different plows that will be used on the Turnpike this winter.
The following names were selected as winners:
Ctrl-Salt-Delete
The Big LePlowski
Blizzard Wizard
The Blizzard of Oz
Plow Chick A Plow Wow
Ohio Thaw Enforcement
You’re Killin’ Me Squalls
Clearopathra

Last year, which also included eight winners, was highlighted by names like Snowbi-Wan Kenobi and Snow More Mr. Nice Guy.
Each of the Turnpike’s eight maintenance buildings will receive one of the named plows, and individuals who submitted a winning name will receive a $100 gift card.
