‘Forbes’ publishes glowing feature on visiting Columbus; See what their top picks were
Columbus is a large city that’s getting larger, so much so that recently it caught the eye of “Forbes,” the massive business-based media outlet.
Yesterday, “Forbes” published a story called “Why You Should Plan a Spring Trip to Columbus, Ohio, a Hidden Gem in Plain Sight.”
“Forbes” author Katie Chang had high praise to share for the Arch City, referring to it as a “metropolis, packed with, well, everything [she] adores about city life.”

Chang went on to note her picks for a day out in Columbus, which included stops at Avashar Barua’s concepts Agni and Joya’s, in addition to FYR, Stories on High, Comune and Chapman’s Eat Market.
Understory, the woodsy sister concept to Wolf’s Ridge, and Ginger Rabbit, the subterranean jazz lounge from Chapman’s owner BJ Leiberman, made the cut for spots for grab drinks.
Chang did note one particular Columbus area that stood out to her as well: the Franklin Arts District, which she referred to as “a scrappy arts district supporting independent creatives.”
She also cites more food picks, in addition to a whole host of activities, but we won’t ruin everything the story mentioned in case you’d like to read on your own.
