Virally-popular diner known for rude waitstaff, great burgers coming to Columbus
Karen’s Diner is coming to Columbus this fall, and the eatery doesn’t care what you think about it.
The concept, which has enjoyed viral popularity via TikTok and is known for its comically rude waitstaff and indulgent eats, is setting up shop in central Ohio on Sept. 23 and 24 as part of its ongoing tour of the United States.
You can get tickets for the event here. Tickets, which cost $47, come with one burger, fries and a soda. No one under 16 will be allowed after 5 p.m.

“It’s an absurd, unique environment full of laughs, banter and top-notch American diner-style grub! We pride ourselves on our terrible service, rated 1* by Karen herself! This is dining with a twist–the food is great, the service is ungrateful but your experience will be unforgettable,” an event description reads.
An exact location hasn’t been announced for the Columbus tour stop, although event information for the pop-up says Karen’s Diner is slated to be held inside of a third party space on North High Street.
Karen’s Diner, which started in Sydney, Australia in 2021, serves handcrafted burgers, milkshakes (with or without alcohol) and more from a color-soaked, retro diner setting. It now operates eight brick and mortar locations in Australia, eight in the UK, and lone restaurants in Indonesia, New Zealand and one in the US, which is located in St. Louis.
