Columbus brand takes home more gold medals than any distillery in the country at world’s largest spirits contest
The Columbus-based High Bank Distillery Co. returned to central Ohio from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition with a whole lot of new hardware.
According to a press release, High Bank won eight total awards, six of which were Double Gold, the contest’s highest mark. According to High Banks, the distillery’s six double golds were the most of any other distillery based in the United States, and the second-most of any in the world.
The contest, which was held April 13-15, features more than 100 categories, and is billed as the largest and most impactful spirits competition in the entire world, fielding more than 6,000 entries every year.
