Columbus taproom named the country’s best dog-friendly brewery

Now with the weather actually warming, what’s better than grabbing a cold craft beer on a warm Columbus afternoon?

That exact same thing, but with a dog. And according to “Always Pets,” a Columbus spot is the best place in the country to combine the two.

The outlet recently published a story that names the popular Franklinton spot Land-Grant Brewing Co. as the nation’s top dog-friendly brewery.

Known for its spacious outdoor patio that transforms into a winter wonderland in the colder months, Land-Grant’s taproom offers plenty during the spring and summer as well. 

Here’s what “Always Pets” had to say about the Columbus spot, which it ranked as the country’s top pet-friendly brewery out of 15 total spots.

A one-of-a-kind, dog-friendly brewery, Land-Grant Brewing Company offers 3,000 square feet of space to gather, hang with your friends, try new beers, or watch the game. There are tons of communal tables and a large outdoor area to enjoy.

In summer, there’s live music. In winter, they even set up heated igloos you can rent.

Located at 424 W. Town St., Land-Grant was also recently named Best Drinking Patio and Best Local Brewery in our 2023 ColumBEST poll.
