Another new mochi donut shop is coming soon to central Ohio

Just like that, the Columbus area is slated to have more than a few brick and mortar options for mochi donuts.

The latest shop to announce an Arch City storefront is Let’s Mochi Donut, a new concept that will launch its first location at 16 S. Sandusky St. in Delaware.

According to a statement posted to the Let’s Mochi Donuts’ website, it plans to open its Delaware store in late July or early August, although an official date has not been announced.

“Mochi donuts are a fusion pastry crossing traditional American dough and Japanese mochi. The mochi donuts’ rice flour batter is more fluffy and moist than a normal doughnut,” the eatery’s statement reads.

It also plans to sell boba tea, and noted that more offerings will eventually fill out its menu.

Let’s Mochi Donut joins Teamoji and PhoVLove Cafe as Columbus-area spots offering the popular international treat.
