Chocolate chips and pizza cheese? You can try this combo if you dare at this Ohio pizzeria

“Is thing for real?” someone asked in a pizza connoisseurs Facebook Group.

Looking at the picture of a peanut butter, pizza cheese, and chocolate chip pizza, one would assume the owners of Roscoe’s Pizza in Corwin, Ohio, were just joking with their Facebook audience when they said it’s a potential new pizza creation. But no, they weren’t kidding around. This “thing” is for real.

On July 23rd, Roscoe’s Pizza debuted their newest pizza concoction, inspired by a customer’s suggestion. “Thinking about putting this on the menu? Not sure if it could be available in every size. The chocolate chips may need to be served on the side due to issues with the time it takes to apply them. Only concern is the chips may not melt too well if it’s a far pickup or a delivery. Regardless, it looks amazing. Going to tweak it a little and hopefully launch it soon!” reads the Facebook post on Roscoe’s Pizza’s account.

This peanut butter, chocolate chip, cheesy pizza will definitely be on the menu soon, according to an employee. “Some people have already been calling and wanting to try it,” they said. “I think it will be a great option for kids especially.”

Roscoe’s Pizza has already gone viral for their peanut butter sauce, bacon, and banana pizza, as well as their burnt BBQ Grippo’s za, and their peanut butter & jelly pizza, but this is the first pizza they’ve made that features chocolate.
