After closing sole Columbus location years ago, 35-year-old ice cream chain opens another Central Ohio shop
Here’s the scoop: a popular, national ice cream chain known for old-fashioned methods and homestyle flavors has made their way back to Central Ohio – again.
Bruster’s Real Ice Cream closed their Polaris location back in 2022 without any explanation besides an Instagram post saying they would be permanently closing that location at 1515 Gemini Place.

Two years later, Bruster’s just opened up another shop in Reynoldsburg, welcoming customers on November 14 at their new shop on 7330 East Main St. They’re open every day from 11am-9pm.
Bruster’s offers 24 ever-changing flavors, homemade daily with 150 recipes on rotation. Choose from traditional ice cream, sundaes, blasts, freezes, milkshakes, sorbet, Italian ice, and vegan non-dairy oat milk options!
Some popular flavors include Chocolate Peanut Butter Buckeye, Chocolate Raspberry Truffle, Mixed Berry Cheesecake with Graham Crackers, Peppermint Oreo, Pistachio, and much more!
