Ohio State makes the grade in medicine

The Ohio State University College of Medicine has placed in the top 20% of medical schools in the latest graduate school rankings from U.S. World & News Report.

In considering 188 programs nationwide, the magazine based their rankings on evaluations of peers and of residency directors, the volume of each school’s research activity, the selectiveness of their admissions process, the percentage of students landing residencies, and the resources made available to faculty.

Ohio State checked in at No. 34 in research and at No. 38 in teaching primary care.
