A Budd Dairy pop-up is giving away free beer if you get a flu or COVID vaccine
A beer for a shot. Sounds like a fair trade to us. Only, it might not be the kind of shot that first comes to mind.
We mean a vaccine shot.
From 5-10 p.m. today only, a Gifthealth pop-up clinic on the roof of Budd Dairy Food Hall—located at 1086 N. 4th St.—is giving away free beer in exchange for receiving an on-site flu or COVID vaccine.

The pop-up will be administering Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson COVID vaccines for free. It will also be giving flu vaccines, which are free with many health insurance plans. If your insurance doesn’t cover flu vaccinations, you can pay $32 for one at the event.
And if you receive either vaccine from the pop-up today, your first beer of the evening is on Gifthealth. According to a Budd Dairy representative, you’ll be able to choose between a draft pour of Miller Light or Seventh Son’s Village Pilsner, a Czech pilsner sold exclusively at Budd Dairy.
All you need to bring, according to Gifthealth, is your ID and an insurance card if your plan covers flu vaccines.
