Crispy Coop opens to enthusiastic Pickerington crowd

To say that business is good at Crispy Coop’s newest location might be an understatement.

“It’s been absolutely crazy,” said owner Drew Cleary.

In fact, since opening March 5 at 1510 Cross Creek Blvd., the new Pickerington location has been twice as busy as the original location at 1717 Northwest Blvd.

“Pickerington people really like their fried chicken,” Cleary said.

His chicken sandwich features three levels of heat: Traditional, Tennessee Mild, and Nashville Hot. Sides include salads, greens, mac and cheese, cornbread, Texas potatoes, and slaw.

Both the Grandview and Pickerington locations are open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Cleary said that as he continues to look for opportunities to expand, he’ll still work on constantly perfecting Crispy Coop’s products and services everyday.

“We’re super thankful for the support from the Pickerington community,” he said.
