The new taco place that’s coming to Whitehall

It might not be Taco Tuesday, but we have some Tex Mex-inspired news for you.

Del Taco, the fast food chain specializing in American-style Mexican fare, will be opening in mid-June at 4720 E. Main St., according to a representative.

Del Taco opened this past October at 2079 S Main St. in Bellefontaine and in March at 23601 U.S. Highway 23 S. in Circleville.

In a release about the Circleville location, Brandi Joseph, operating partner for the local Ohio franchisee, spoke to a plan to establish a presence within the state.

“We are gearing up to grow the Del Taco footprint in Ohio over the next few years,” Joseph said. “The Ohio market has a lot of potential, and we are thrilled to meet the demand in the Circleville community for our signature Mexican favorites.”
