The newest Tiger-style pizza is available for a limited time only

We know it’s not Taco Tuesday, but you need to know about the latest Tiger-style pizza from Yellow Brick Pizza

Taco Tiger Pizza will be available March 27-29 at The Short North Tavern. And Yellow Brick plans to donate $2 from every taco pizza sold to a local non-profit.

“We’ll announce the charity on Saturday before the pop-up opens,” Yellow Brick co-owner Faith Pierce said.

The pizza features provolone cheese, roasted chicken, jalapeños, black olives, tomatoes, cotija, and essence of taco with avocado crema.

“It can be made vegan by substituting for Violife and Dr Praeger’s vegan chick’n,” Pierce said.  “The crema is vegan by default.”

Pierce said the idea for Taco Tiger Pizza was born when she and Operations Manager Melissa Bell were brainstorming ideas for a special pizza to offer the last weekend of their Short North Tavern pop-up.

Since unveiling their Tiger-style concept March 6, the Margherita (garlic, provolone, tomatoes, ricotta, Italian seasoning, and pesto) has been one of the most popular, Pierce said.

Last weekend’s featured Tiger Pizza was the Meatball Sundae, featuring provolone, slices of house-made meatballs, shaved parmesan, red sauce, ricotta, and Italian seasoning. Yellow Brick also created its own take on the trendy pickle pizza. Called Dill Thrill, the pizza features garlic, provolone, dill pickles, Old Bay Hot Sauce, and ranch dressing. It can also be made vegan with Violife Mozzarella and Woodhouse Vegan Ranch.
