Yogi’s Hoagies owner asks community for help to relocate

With the impending closure of Yogi’s Hoagies in Westerville ahead, owner Sue Shields has taken to GoFundMe to ask people for help for moving expenses.

Shields’ fundraiser has at the time of this posting raised $1,705 of a $5,000 goal. In her post, Shields shared that the property owner sold the site to Dunkin Donuts. Yogi’s has until Sept. 7 to vacate the premises.

“On such short notice (for being there for 29 years), we would love help for moving expenses such as moving company, dumpster rental, and storage unit for a short period,” her post read in part.

In her post, Shields said they are looking daily for a relocation spot.

“We are going to relocate, but have not found anyplace yet, but I am confident that we will,” she said in the post.
