New Arena District brewery, restaurant announces grand opening date

In less than a month, the Arena District will be home to an exciting new craft brewery, distillery and restaurant.

That’s because Goodwood Brewing & Spirits–the popular Louisville-based brewery and distillery–will be officially opening its taproom and restaurant on March 14.

Goodwood Brewing, which announced its move to Columbus late last year, is located at 401 N. Front St. in the Arena District.

While a wide variety of craft beer and even Goodwood-distilled spirits will be for sale, the new spot will also feature a robust food menu. According to General Manager of the Columbus location Mike Wilson, the Goodwood menu boasts Southern-inspired classics, such as cheesy grits, chicken and waffles, and more.

Brunch will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays.

According to Wilson, with over 20 TVs, Goodwood’s Arena District craft brewery will also serve as a destination for sports fans to catch a game while grabbing a beer and a bite.
