New data study reveals most popular Easter candy
Step aside jelly beans. Not today chocolate bunny.
According to a new data study from Pattern, Peeps–the iconic animal-shaped marshmallows–are likely to be the most popular Easter candies this year.
Pattern tracked consumer demand for candy on Amazon every day in 2021 to determine what varieties are likely to be the most popular for Easter 2022.

According to Pattern, Peeps and jelly beans combined for nearly half of all consumer demand during the week leading up to Easter. Peeps boasts a whopping 22 percent of total demand during that time period.
The study says that Peeps experienced a staggering 615 percent increase in demand during this timeframe.
Jelly beans were a close second place, taking 21 percent of consumer demand, followed by Cadbury Eggs (14 percent), Skittles (7 percent) and Starburst jelly beans (7 percent).
