While Columbus gained a new spot for Momo and more with the grand opening of the second location of Namaste Indo Nepali Cuisine on Feb. 5, it lost another at the same time.

That’s because Himalayan Grille has announced that it has closed its doors for good.

The restaurant was located at 1307 Stoneridge Dr., which serves as the current location of the new Namaste Indo Nepali Cuisine.

Namaste officially opened on Feb. 5, which made Himalayan Grille’s departure from that space inevitable. It was uncertain at the time what the the long-term fate of the restaurant itself would be, and the question of whether it would reopen at a later date in a new location had yet to be addressed.

Himalayan Grill has since posted several Google updates announcing that it has closed permanently. “Himalayan Grille is permanently closed. Namaste Indo-Nepali Cuisine is moving to our current location: 1307 Stoneridge Drive. Gahanna, OH 43230,” the update reads. “It was pleasure serving you all and hope you give this new place a try.”
