This Grandview donut shop has closed

A Columbus donut concept is down to one storefront.

According to a statement posted to Dragon Donuts’ Instagram account, the bakery has officially closed its Grandview-area storefront, which is located at 1288 W. 5th Ave.

“This decision did not come lightly. Unfortunately, our Grandview location will be closed permanently. We appreciate all of the support & love,” the statement reads.

The closure is effective immediately. It was announced yesterday afternoon.

Dragon Donuts, which sells both cake and raised donut variations in addition to cinnamon rolls and more, first opened in Grove City in 2018, although this location has also closed. The bakery then opened Dragon Donuts Grandview in February of 2020 before opening a location in Easton in February of 2020.

Its Easton storefront, which is located at 4100 Worth St., will remain open.
