This new High Street bar is out of this world
Say ‘hello’ to the High Street sports bar that’s out of this world.
Saturn Sports Bar, which officially opened its doors late last year, is aiming to redefine the Short North and Campus-area sports bar experience.
Located at 1288 N. High St., the Short North spot opened in late 2023, and has been providing fans with a unique new headquarters for the Buckeyes (who kick off their season this weekend), Clippers and Crew, in addition to UFC, boxing and much more.
According to owner Anthony Bennett, Saturn’s has jettisoned the cramped and dark atmosphere of so many other sports bars and replaced it with unique cosmic-themed decorations, and a bright, naturally-lit space with plenty of room for viewers, diners and drinkers alike.
“At Saturn’s Sports Bar, we pride ourselves on creating an inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome,” Bennett said. “Our motto, ‘It’s your space,’ is a testament to our commitment to providing a place where you can be yourself. Whether you’re here to catch a game, enjoy our acclaimed wings, or just soak in the vibrant atmosphere, Saturn’s is your space to relax, unwind, and have a great time.”
Additionally, the Short North spot offers a full slate of weekly specials, including:
–Comedy Tuesday w/Hashtag Comedy Open Mic Night & 1/2 off all liquor: Like laughing? Like half-off on liquor? You’re in luck. Tuesday is the perfect day to try out new cocktails or savor your favorite spirits.
–Wing Wednesday & Karaoke: Dive into our mouthwatering wings for just $1 each and let loose with some karaoke. It’s a midweek party you won’t want to miss!
–Queen of Hearts Thursday w/ Guest Djs: Thursdays are for cards. Plus, ready Queen of Hearts, followed by the excitement of our guest DJs.
