After a decade, Bexley business planning on closing if owners can’t find buyers

“January 5, 2015…2 crazy middle-aged nurses took a leap, bought an existing coffee shop, added some unique baked goods and 10 years later, here I am. It’s been one heck of a ride. I have met some really incredible people and have been privileged to have had this opportunity,” said Maria, co-owner of Bexley Coffee Shop.

With all that being said, Bexley Coffee Shop announced they’d be ceasing operations by the end of January. But they’re hoping to pass the torch on to another entrepreneur. “It’s been a tough couple of years and I’m not getting any younger. It’s time for me move on and give someone new an opportunity to become an entrepreneur,” said Maria.

Bexley Coffee Shop is available for sale immediately. “If I’m unable to secure a qualified buyer, I plan to cease operating by the end of January,” Maria explained.

The coffee shop is located at 492 Cassady Ave., known for brewing Thunderkiss coffee and offering a variety of pastries and treats. 

“It truly has been a pleasure and an honor to be a part of your morning routine for so many years. I thank you all for your kindness, the trust you placed in the shop and the enduring friendships along the way.”
