“Ohio’s best” jerk chicken spot opening in Short North area this week

If the falling temperatures have you down, an authentic taste of Jamaica might be what you need to stay warm this winter. 

Luckily for us, an authentic spot slinging jerk chicken and more is opening just outside the Short North. 

Jerky’s Jamaican Grill is coming to Columbus. Billed as “Ohio’s best jerk,” the new restaurant will be located at 1247 N. High St., between the Short North and OSU campus.

The eatery, which also plans to offer catering, will be the first Jerky’s location.

Originally slated to open in November, Jerky’s Jamaican Grill will now be holding its official opening event on Dec. 3 at 12 p.m. The first 100 customers to attend will receive half off their entire order.
