If you’re a fan of authentic Cajun fare, then today is a special day.

That’s because J. Gumbo’s only Central Ohio restaurant is officially open again at its new location.

Previously located at 9 N. Sandusky St. in downtown Delaware, the eatery relocated to 39 E. William St., which is also located in downtown Delaware.

J. Gumbo’s initially closed its doors in December for a holiday break, and used this closure to move into its new location as well.

For the first two weeks of operation (until March 5), the Cajun eatery will be open Monday through Wednesday, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., Thursday from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.

J. Gumbo’s previously operated several other Columbus-area restaurants, although its Delaware storefront is currently the only one still open.
