Sweet Treats: The Best Valentine’s Day goodies we’ve seen so far

We know it’s not even February yet, but it’s never too soon to be thinking about Valentine’s Day sweets—whether you’re treating your partner, your galentine, or yourself.

We’ve rounded up some creative confections from Columbus-area outfits to give you a bit of inspiration.

We bet you can’t choose a favorite!

Angie’s Rainbow Cookies

Although they’re new to the scene, Angie’s has quickly established itself here, partnering with Wizard of Za as well as The Hills Market. They’ve already started accepting orders for their Valentine’s Day menu.

Fate Cakes Columbus

Leave it to Gahanna-based Fate Cakes to put together a variety of stunning options for Valentine’s Day, from a DIY cookie kit to a sampler with all of our favorites.

One Hail of a Cookie

This home-based operation has some of the most adorable Valentine’s Day treats we’ve seen, from conversation hearts, to gnomes, to Valentine envelopes. Who doesn’t want an excuse for a bit of whimsy?

Columbus Food Adventures

If you’re having a case of FOMO, let Columbus Adventures take the stress out of the selection process. Their Valentine’s Sweets Collection features the best from some of the city’s most popular places.

Donna’s Delicious Dozen

Even though Donna’s was recently focused on getting their food truck up and running, that hasn’t stopped them from coming up with amazing-looking offerings for Valentine’s Day, including a DIY donut kit, heart cake pops, and hot cocoa bombs.

Borgata’s Pizza Cafe

If you haven’t had Borgata’s cannoli yet, you’re missing out. The eatery recently made their popular take-home kits a permanent menu item. Their Red Velvet cannoli is available through Valentine’s Day, so get it before it’s gone.

Chocolate Cafe

It’s easy to get overwhelmed looking at Chocolate Cafe’s menu: There’s cakes, cupcakes, cape pops, cookies, dessert bars, truffles, and more. Might we suggest starting with the seasonally updated version of the Everything But the Kitchen Sink cookie and going from there.
